Extraordinary Handcrafted Collections Inspired by Nature

ABOUT
My business is devoted to herbal remedies, organic concoctions, natural soaps and beauty products. All ingredients used are wild harvested and/or organic, locally sourced when available, and of the highest quality.  I use only essential oils or infusions in my products.  Fragrance oils would be cheaper, but they are synthetic and made with chemicals and that's not what my brand is about.  I believe what goes ON your body is as important as what goes IN your body. Our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made by God and we must care for them the best we can.

Once your order is placed, I will do my best to ship your product within 72 hours and provide tracking. Free shipping for all orders over $50. If you are local, email me to discuss pickup.

Why do you use plastic jars?

The plastic jars we use are food grade, high chemical resistant, high impact resistant PET plastic that is bpa-free.  With the nature of our products, your hands can get slippery and if you drop glass, it's likely to break. There's also the portability issue.  Plastic is much more lightweight and easier to carry, plus it costs less to ship, and that savings can be passed along to the consumer.  The amber color effectively filters UV light which helps prevent the breakdown of the product.

Why does some soap have discoloration spots and is it OK to use?

Saponification is an exothermic reaction that soap goes through, which means it releases heat. If there is enough heat during saponification, you'll see a gel phase which is when the middle of the soap mass starts to look like translucent jelly.
Soap that has gelled tends to have a more translucent finish and a darker (and sometimes, more saturated) color. Un-gelled soaps are more opaque and tend to have a duller final color.
If the soap cools off before the gel phase reaches the edges of the mold, the final soap will have a partial gel.  This will give you "spots" or circles in the finished bar of soap.  This in no way affects the efficiency of the soap, just the look.  The soap still works the same and is just as good as ones that have gelled all the way out.
You can prevent gel phase all together by putting the soap in the freezer immediately after making it, and letting it cool quickly.  The result is an opaque, matte finish instead of a shiny translucent one.  Either way, the soap is still perfectly fine for use.  It is totally a cosmetic issue.

Why do you use salt and sugar in your soaps?

Our soap contains no surfactants which are what make soaps sudsy.  It cleans beautifully and due to the coconut oil, it has some suds, but most people want more bubbles and suds.  Sugar makes the soap have a more luxurious feel, more bubbles and suds.  We use only non-GMO minimally processed pure cane sugar.  The salt adds a hardness to the soap which makes it last longer, thus giving your more for your money.  We only use high quality Himalayan pink sea salt.

I have more questions; how do I get in touch with you?

If you have any questions about our products, shipping or packaging, please feel free to email us!  We are a transparent company and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.  Our email is nanagnaturals@gmail.com.

Why do your products cost more than some I've seen?

I cannot speak for the prices of anyone else's products, but as for mine I can tell you that quality isn't cheap.  I use only the highest quality ingredients I can because your skin is the largest organ in your body, and what goes on it goes in it.  I use organic, wild harvested (when possible), natural and clean ingredients.  In the products that do have to have a preservative, I use the most natural and cleanest ones possible.  I use natural essential oils instead of synthetic fragrance oils.

I could use cheaper ingredients and charge less for my products, but that's not what I'm about.  I want to nourish bodies from the outside in.  Am I saying that cheaper products are inferior?  Absolutely not.  But read your labels and make sure you are getting good, clean ingredients.

What are the black specks in your vanilla products?

All of our vanilla products are infused with organic vanilla beans.  The black flecks you see are the vanilla "caviar".  We do not strain this out as it does have skin benefits.  It will melt right into your skin.
